Challenge
The challenge was to create an iPad application that would engage users in answering questions to determine their personality and provide a personalised output suggesting the Oreo flavour that best suits them. This application needed to be part of Oreo's experiential campaign and tour the country.
Solution
To address this challenge, we developed a quiz application installed on iPads for use during Oreo's experiential campaign. The quiz featured questions designed to capture users' preferences and personality traits, ultimately leading to a personalised Oreo flavour recommendation based on their input. The application was integrated into a bold and colourful branded truck, where the sampling team invited guests to participate in the personalised quiz. Visitors interacted with the quiz using tablets provided by staff and were able to share their results online, enhancing engagement and social sharing.
Impact
The implemented solution proved highly successful in engaging participants and promoting Oreo's brand awareness. Visitors who engaged with the quiz received a free Oreo truffle of their personalised flavour, enhancing their overall experience and leaving a positive impression of the brand. Additionally, a follow-up email was sent to all users, further reinforcing brand engagement and encouraging continued interaction. The personalised quiz experience not only provided entertainment but also effectively promoted Oreo's product range and increased brand affinity among consumers, contributing to the success of the experiential campaign.
