Challenge
Burberry’s Retail Excellence Team wanted to empower store colleagues to speak confidently about the brand’s products. But the training materials—long PDFs, uninspiring slides—weren’t cutting through. The challenge? To make this knowledge unforgettable. To bring it to life in a way that resonates, excites, and sticks.
Solution
We created a series of films that immersed colleagues in the stories of heritage, craftsmanship, and the people behind Burberry’s most iconic pieces. Trench 101 was a deep dive into the world’s most famous coat—a garment designed over a century ago. We used a rich mix of archive material cut with a series of interview. Speakers included Burberry’s Head of Archive, Carly Eck, and artisans in Castleford, Yorkshire, who discuss the Trench's military origins, craftsmanship, and cultural significance. An immersive, legacy-defining story of what makes it an icon. Leather 101 took us to Tuscany, the heart of leather craftsmanship. Shot with cinematic beauty, it traced the entire journey—from raw hide to finished product—capturing the skill, precision, and passion behind every piece. The goal? To inspire colleagues and give them the confidence to share these stories with customers. These weren’t just training films. They were an escape. A moment of connection. A new way to fall in love with Burberry.
