Challenge
The challenge was to create an engaging and immersive experience for attendees at the OCP event using Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The goal was to provide users with a unique way to interact with 3D models related to the event's offerings, enhancing their overall experience and understanding.
Solution
Our team developed an Augmented Reality experience that leveraged QR code technology to trigger the appearance of 3D models on users' smartphones. We strategically positioned QR codes throughout the event stand, allowing attendees to scan them using their phones and view the corresponding 3D models as if they were physically present on the stand. Once activated, users could interact with the models by rotating them and clicking on hotspots to access additional information, enhancing their understanding and engagement.
In addition to the AR experience, we designed and created an 8-page brochure that complemented the interactive component. Each page of the brochure featured a QR code next to a specific model, enabling delegates to continue interacting with the models even after the event. This seamless integration of print and digital materials extended the engagement beyond the event itself, providing users with a valuable resource for further exploration and learning.
Impact
The Augmented Reality experience and accompanying brochure successfully enhanced the overall engagement and interaction at the OCP event. Attendees were able to explore and interact with 3D models in a novel and immersive way, gaining a deeper understanding of the event's offerings. The integration of QR code technology facilitated seamless access to digital content, both on-site and remotely, ensuring continued engagement beyond the event. Overall, the combination of AR technology and print materials contributed to a memorable and impactful experience for attendees, reinforcing the event's objectives and leaving a lasting impression.
